The Waverly Community Fund is accepting grant applications for the 2011 grant cycle. Applications can be picked up at the Waverly Area Development office or can be printed by clicking here for a pdf application. The applications must be postmarked by April 30th or dropped off at the Waverly Area Development office by that date. The Fund awards grants to local non-profit organizations to improve the cultural, recreational, and general quality of life in the Waverly community. Past grant recipients include the Bremer County Historical Society, Friends of the Waverly Public Library, the Waverly Health Center, Bremwood, the Bremer County Chapter of The Compassionate Friends, and others.
